Overview:

The player registration process is twofold: (1) Developmental players and U9 Players register through the Developmental and U9 Team Manager(s), and (2) U10 and older players competing in select/travel teams register directly through the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club.   

 Development and U9 Recreational Program:

(1) Registrations for the Legacy East End Wizards Developmental and Recreation Programs are accepted in-person only by the Developmental Program Director or the East End Program Director.

(2) Applications are provided to parents during practices or during the Summer Reach Out program.

(3) To ensure that all developmental and U9 recreational players receive the best quality coaching possible, only limited numbers of players are accepted based on the availability of quality coaches. 

(4) Payments are submitted directly to the Virginia Legacy East End Wizards - please contact Mr. Steve Shaw, East End Program Director, for additional information. 

 Competitive Select Teams:

(1) Registration for all Virginia Legacy East End Wizard teams is automated on line via the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club (VLSC).

(2) For players to register, they must first fill out a "Tryout Registration" via the VLSC website (https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/williamsburg/2010/Tryout.html).

(3) Once players have registered and are accepted and assigned to a team, parents may fill out the actual registration via an "Acceptance Link" on the VLSC wibsite (https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/williamsburg/2010/Travel.html). Players are not officially added to the team roster until invited and the "Acceptance Link" is filled out which consents that the parents have agreed to accept an official position for their child.

(4) Payments for select Teams are also made via the VLSC webiste at  https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/williamsburg/2010/TravelPayment.html

 Acceptance: 

In an effort to speed up the process of forming all of our teams (and out of respect for those that don’t receive an invitation), PLAYERS ARE ASKED TO BE PREPARED TO GIVE AN IMMEDIATE VERBAL COMMITMENT WHEN THEY ARE NOTIFIED.   Notifications will occur not later than 4 June 2010. After the verbal commitment, the player has 24 hours to complete the online acceptance link finalizing their commitment to the Virginia Legacy (East End) Soccer Club.

REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.  YOUR PLAYER MUST ACCOMPANY YOU! There is A $25 LATE FEE ASSESSED IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND ONE OF THESE NIGHTS OR MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE SOCCER OFFICE TO GET THE REGISTRATION COMPLETED. (Note our office location: 1117 Old Colony Lane)

EXTENDED PAYMENT OPTION

 Player Cards and Medical Forms:

(1) All players must fill out and sign (both parents and players) a medical form as well as the player's card which is a requirement to compete as an officially registered player within the State of Virginia.  Players must also submit a 1"x1" (or passport size) color photo for his/her player card.

 EAST END LEGACY ELITE TEAMS (WIZARDS OR PHOENIX)         

 EAST END LEGACY PREMIER TEAMS (TITANS) 

         WIZARDS-BOYS TOP TEAMS;  TITANS-BOYS 2^ND TIER TEAMS; PHOENIX-GIRLS TOP TEAMS

•  INCLUDES: ALL TOURNAMENT FEES AND REGISTRATIONS LISTED ON TEAMS EVENT STRUCTURE, PLAYER INSURANCE, FALL AND SPRING LEAGUE FEES, WINTER INDOOR LEAGUE, COACHING FEES, FALL/WINTER/SPRING TRAINING, SEASONAL TECHNICAL TRAININGS, DIRECTORS OF COACHING TRAININGS, PRE-SEASON MINI-CAMP, ADMINISTRATIVE FEES, GOALKEEPER TRAINING, INTER CLUB FRIENDLY WEEKENDS, AND CLUB APPRECIATION DAY.

·       EXCLUDES: INDOOR TOURNAMENTS, CAMPS, UNIFORMS (CYCLED EVERY 2 YEARS), PERSONAL TRAVEL EXPENSES.

UNIFORM FEE – UNIFORMS ARE CYCLED EVERY TWO YEARS.  UNIFORMS WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED FOR THE 2010/2011 SEASON ONLY IF YOU ARE NEW TO VA LEGACY.  THE NEXT UNIFORM WILL NOT NEED TO BE PURCHASED UNTIL THE 2011/2012 SEASON.

IF APPLICABLE (2009/10 and  2010/11 NIKE UNIFORM PACKAGE – ($91.76-ADULT, $88.94-YOUTH PLUS $5 SHIPPING FEE) which includes  1 black jersey, 1 white jersey, 1 red jersey, 1 black shorts, 1 white shorts, 1 pair black socks, 1 pair white socks.

 REFUND POLICY: THE VIRGINIA LEGACY HAS ESTABLISHED A REFUND PERIOD POLICY AS FOLLOWS: 

(1)  ANY PLAYER WISHING NOT TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE SEASON FROM JUNE 2^ND – JULY 3^RD WILL RECEIVE ALL MONIES PAID, EXCEPT A NON-REFUNDABLE $200 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE, WILL BE RETURNED UPON WRITTEN REQUEST.

(2)  ANY PLAYER WISHING NOT TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE SEASON FROM JULY 4^TH – AUGUST 14^TH WILL RECEIVE ALL MONIES PAID, EXCEPT A NON-REFUNDABLE $400 ADMINISTRATIVE/ PROGRAMS FEE, WILL BE RETURNED UPON WRITTEN REQUEST.

(3)  ANY PLAYER WISHING NOT TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE SEASON FROM AUGUST 15^TH – SEPTEMBER 11^TH  WILL RECEIVE ALL MONIES PAID, EXCEPT A NON-REFUNDABLE $600 ADMINISTRATIVE/PROGRAMS FEE, WILL BE RETURNED UPON WRITTEN REQUEST.

(4)  VIRGINIA LEGACY HAS A POLICY OF NO REFUNDS FOR PLAYERS/FAMILIES FOR (2010/2011) THAT DECIDE THEY DO NOT WANT TO PLAY AFTER SEPTEMBER 11^TH.
